I am the author of Checkmate, a historical fictional thriller. Checkmate was reviewed by several prominent Indian newspapers and was a ‘#1 Audible India Historical Thriller Amazon Bestseller.’

I am a former chess player who twice represented my state at the national level and competed with several opponents who are now grandmasters and international masters. Since childhood, my passion for chess has run parallel with my even older love for the written word.

Through my writing, I explore Indian themes through a Western lens. My first book Checkmate was launched in June 2020 in the Indian subcontinent. Checkmate is now available in several additional geographies. I live near Atlanta, Georgia, where I am working on my next book alongside my professional career.
